Men Wanted In Suspected Hate Crime Beating

Two men are wanted in connection with an assault in Pontiac in what police believe may be a gay hate crime that nearly killed one victim.

The two victims, a 46-year-old man who cross-dresses and a 54-year-old man awaiting a sex change operation, were attacked early Wednesday morning outside their home in downtown Pontiac, according to a report in The Oakland Press.

"It appears that a vehicle followed them home," said Pontiac police Sgt. William Ware in the paper's report. "They had left a bar downtown. The person (who attacked them) was calling them names and taunting them."

An incident outside the Liberty Bar on Saginaw Street in downtown Pontiac may have involved the attackers, said Ware.

Wow! Two guys beat up a pre-op transexual and a crossdresser? Ooooooh, those big, brave heteros! I wonder if they stopped to contemplate why they both had stiffies while they were beating up the victims.
