unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (DoD? Gannett?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.

“I am thrilled to be able to serve in the Air Force again,” Witt said in statement released by the American Civil Liberties Union, whose attorneys represent her. “The men and women in the (446th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron) are like family members to me, and I’ve been waiting a long time to rejoin them.
