Tel Aviv Gay Center Victims Honored

Survivors of last year’s shootings at a gay youth center in Tel Aviv are being hosted this week by a new youth program in Germany.

The Berlin-based Rainbow is a program overseen by the city’s LGBT gay helpline designed to serve “as a demonstration of solidarity with the survivors of the Tel Aviv attack.” Last August two people were killed and another 11 injured in an attack by a masked gunman on Agudah, a center for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender youths.

The visitors met with Jewish residents, LGBT activists, and public officials in Berlin and Cologne.
