Let the hate begin! American Family Association Calls For Impeachment Of Judge Vaughn Walker

American Family Association Calls For Impeachment Of Judge Vaughn Walker

“This is a tyrannical, abusive and utterly unconstitutional display of judicial arrogance. Judge Walker has turned ‘We the People’ into ‘I the Judge.' It’s inexcusable for him to deprive the citizens of California of their right to govern themselves, and cavalierly trash the will of over seven million voters. This case never should even have entered his courtroom. The federal constitution nowhere establishes marriage policy, which means under the 10th Amendment that issue is reserved for the states.

“It’s also extremely problematic that Judge Walker is a practicing homosexual himself. He should have recused himself from this case, because his judgment is clearly compromised by his own sexual proclivity. The fundamental issue here is whether homosexual conduct, with all its physical and psychological risks, should be promoted and endorsed by society. That’s why the people and elected officials accountable to the people should be setting marriage policy, not a black-robed tyrant whose own lifestyle choices make it impossible to believe he could be impartial." AFA head Tim Wildmon, calling on the House of Representatives to launch impeachment proceedings against Judge Vaughn Walker.

On edit: You know damn good and well that if it had gone the other way they would be saying he was sensible, serious jurist who understood the ramifications of the bill. They're just evil, vile, wicked, spiteful...well, I could go on for pages. Let's just leave it at they suck.

2. Maybe if we ignore them they will go away. That's what I
plan on doing. When has the AFA ever been good for anything? Their name even mocks them.

5. When the right starts this "we the people" crap
We should remind them that the very reason for judges is that the majority is often tyrannical about oppressing the minority. Do they think we should have had a vote of "eligible voters" in Mississippi back in 1963 or so, to ask if they thought African Americans should have basic civil rights? Does the majority get to vote on what civil rights are recognized for the minority?

Total idiots.

6. I actually enjoy getting emails from AFA
it helps remind me of how we got to a point where W ruled for 8 years. It keeps pushing me not to get too upset at the last two years, because things are really a hell of a lot better.

7. You understand that "The American Family"
and organizations like it could never exists if they didn't call for hatred of others who do not resemble them, who do not believe as they do, and who they can't control. Just think about it. Republicans wouldn't be a party either if they didn't do the same thing. But add they make love to corporations.

11. There's a line there...
It clearly states that this is subject to the whim of the populace. I believe it's written in invisible ink so that only they can see it.

wouldn't the same necessarily hold true for his accusers?
