Both sides turned their homework in early. They each submitted written responses to Judge Walker’s 29 questions in advance of tomorrow’s closing arguments. They also addressed all of the questions, even though some were directed just at the proponents.

barf. It reads like it was written by Taliban lawyers. I could only get through a few pages.

This forum tends to attract weirdos who like to say "Well, you're not *literally* being stoned to death for being XYZ so it isn't the same". I agree with you, though.

It struck me just from a casual read that the subtext of their argument is a desire to return to some halcyon era of mommy, daddy, the kids and the car in the garage and the white picket fence. That we'd still have those days if we'd all just conform and STFU. Even if they get their evil wish, those days are never coming back. The prosperity of the era they worship wasn't shared by everyone and was destroyed by outsourcing, etc. Not the commie gay hippies and "fast" women (the other enemy).

really have trouble dealing with these people and it's pointless to even try to engage them in a rationale intelligent discussion. Then on top of they they are delusional. What a combination.
