I am not a huge fan of Rock and Roll, but I had hopes that tonight's showing would be respectfully tame. I am appalled at what I saw on my television tonight. I am disappointed that the judges chose to contradict everything they have been saying for weeks, and suddenly speak ill of Danny Gokey.

And... while I respect the opinions of all the good citizens of America, I will respectfully disagree with the decision Hollywood made to shine a light on Mr. Adam Lambert. I understand that millions of people vote for Mr. Lambert every week, but I would not let any of those millions of people near my infant son.

I would like my son to grow up in a country where he can make his own decision, the right decision, when he is at the proper age to do so. If he was at an age where he was easily influenced, I would not let him watch American Idol because of Mr. Lambert.

I and my fellow men and women pray for the end of the poison that Mr. Lambert introduces to America. While I understand that Adam has made his decision, and that he has his right to choose who he wants to be, I don't think he should have the right to flaunt his decision to millions of innocent Americans every week.

In my opinion that is wrong. It is unholy, disrespectful, selfish, and irresponsible.

I'm not an AI 'fan' per se, but Lyric pays attention, and when she finds someone she thinks has extraordinary talent, she'll play me a few of their songs.
