I unfortunately only watched about two minutes of that pageant, near the end. I saw Miss California telling how she went to college on a basketball scholarship but gave it up because she liked "all this pageantry!" better. They also asked her what position she played (guard, forward, center) and she didn't seem to know. She answered "outside shooter".
