1. Scholarships Available
Scholarships from the National Association of LGBT Community Centers are
available for the Anti-tobacco Summit to be held at the Hyatt Regency
Chicago on May 3, 2005. Members of the LGBT Anti-tobacco community are
encouraged to submit a scholarship request to attend this follow-up meeting.
Reimbursement will be made for travel-related expenses (w/the exception of
food). This includes airfare, hotel-airport/airport-hotel transport
(shuttle available), and two nights lodging. Requests should be made for
(approximate) total amount of travel. Scholarship amounts will depend upon
the number of requests granted.
You may send your scholarship request to Faith E. Idemundia at
faithi@lgbtcenters.org via e-mail by 2 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, April 20,
2005. A receipt confirmation e-mail will then be sent to you. If you do
not receive a receipt message, please call 714.534.0862 x129 to confirm that
your request was in fact received.

3. Deadline for Special Hotel Rate
The Sheraton has agreed to offer the conference room rate until April 15,
2005, as long as there is availability at the hotel. If you have not made
room reservations, please do so as quickly as possible.
