UFT Lobby Day in Albany today.
Bloomberg's got a bill pending in the senate that will basically Wisconsinize the NYC ed. system. Good chance it'll pass the senate. ( He's been funneling HUGE sums to GOP state senate coffers for *years*. Now we can see *why*.)

More trouble likely for it in the Assembly. I lobbied DEMs Dinowitz and O'Donnell ( of the *Rosie* O'Donnells; not the Christine branch). Both seem pretty enlightened on the issues. ( Dinowitz won't have it, that's for sure.)

What Cuomo will do is a carefully guarded mystery. Hopefully it'll die in the Assembly before it get's that far.

The capitol was a *madhouse*. Public sector unions from all over the state are all over the place. A cross between panic and mania.
