What the Hell are Military Recruiters Doing on Campus During Finals (or ever)?
Having military recruiters on campus during finals is an unnecessary distraction. Students should be studying, meeting with teachers, focusing on school and passing their exams. Typically, schools forbid assemblies, field trips and other interruptions during this time so that students can concentrate on the most important issue: passing their classes.

So why were military recruiters on my school’s campus this week?

Answer: they are vultures who prey upon the insecure and anxious..

Kids are at their most vulnerable right now.

1. They are human predators.
They are there to sucker the naive.

2. If a school accepts federal aid, they are required to allow recuiters
I don't see a problem with it. No student is going to study 24 hours a day for 7 days straight. If they want to talk to a recuiter, then spend 5 minutes and talk to them. If they don't want to, then don't talk to them. Seems easy enough to me.

3. Catch them while they're second guessing themselves immediately...
...after each exam.

A firm guiding hand (never of course coercive) can be a comforting thing to an anxious student.

4. No opportunity; that's how you get recruits for a volunteer army. If there were jobs,
who would join up for $25K & a possible education bonus if you live to collect?
