I watched Bullied today
It is the film about Jaime Nabozny who sued his Wisconsin school district after being severely bullied while in middle and high school. His story is rough, very rough, but also uplifting at the end. You can get your copy by going to www.teachingtolerance.org

I plan on having the GSA view it and show it as part of a way to increase acceptance of gay students and cutting down on bullying.

Are you going to show it to your faculty and administration as well?

2. hum I will let the kids decide that one
Our faculty meetings are always jam packed with crap to do but I do have a workday coming up and might do a voluntary type thing. Our state actually has a law explicitly protecting gays from bullying (it passed last year). In other words wait and see I guess.

3. Iowa Republican platform.
"We oppose the “Bullying Law”."

Meaning that if kids want to bully kids who are different, The pukes are all for it.

They make me sick.

5. we passed ours in NC by one vote in each chamber
not one single, solitary, member of the GOP caucus voted for it in either house. Not one. The Dem Rep whose seat I am barely not in cosponsered it and gave a kick ass speech during the debate. If he needs anything this election, he has it.

Thanks for posting it.

BTW: GSAs ( and GLSENs) RULE.

Talk about "on the front lines."

6. yeah
I admit that I was a humungous coward in middle and high school but I am trying to make up for it now by living openly and honestly.
