2. I just spoke to a friend who has been a fantastic teacher for thirty years.
Her Dad was a well loved and admired state senator, her Mom was a life long teacher. All of her family have a remarkable history of community service and volunteer work.

She was crying. Not because she was worried about herself but because of her school and the students. The cuts are extreme for them. I know that she and her fellow teachers have devoted their lives towards making the school one of the best in the county.

Our Governor just continued a one billion dollar a year tax break for people making over $400,000.00 a year. How can anyone believe that it's teachers and schools are the problem? It makes no sense.
