It's depressing how much of it is material focused on test taking and related skills and how little of the actual academic skill building stuff is focused on any subject that isn't tested on. I looked through the grade 2 and 3 books and over half of them appeared to be related to testing. I was really hoping for some science activity stuff, because my son can't get enough of that kind of thing, and for both ages there was just one book of anatomy activities that looked to be a bit behind his level anyhow. Only one art book too. Lots of reproducible worksheets and some practice standardized tests though. I guess hands-on stuff is out of the question these days. No wonder we homeschool. *sigh*
