Just a dream till the election is official....
I think we may be on the verge of a good drug policy review....Barak said he would look at all things and change what wasn't working.

So before the election is official I can dream of a world where at least the possibility exists for:

- decriminalize basic pot possesion
- End DEA raids for medical users/stores
- consider the reinstroduction of hemp farms
- consider the legalization/taxation of marijuana like alchohol
- consider the reduction in priority of marijuana related offences

Even the smallest steps under Barack, will be an improvement.....I can imagine that McCain would only make things much worse....

Stoners for Obama!!

If you smoke....you had better vote...

1. Dude, when's the vote?
Man, if my Driver's Licence and Passport didn't have a fictitious address...

I could probably pull it off.

As it is, I will just drink and smoke my way through whatever happens.

Maybe next time.

Tom

I think a lot of liberals are mistaken if they believe Obama will govern on the left.
He is a wishy washy cautious guy who likes compromise.

This same thing happened to Clinton after 1994. Liberals began to hate his guts and Gore paid the price in 2000 thanks to many leftists voting for Nader

3. Ending the 'War on Drugs' could have significant financial benefits to a tight budget
Stop the incarceration of people for victim-less crimes like possession of marijuana. It is taking up space in the jails, stopping productive people from working, and it is just plain wrong.
:grr:
