he liked the taste of my sweat
our sweat

warm nights
cold nights
all seasons
didn't matter

the whisper
skin on skin

up and down
rocks and windows
tripping up an incline
or down

drawing it out
breaking
put back together

pillows and sheets
no promises

gone
found
gone again

the sudden urge of longing
warm nights
cold nights

looking for quiet
to hide it
love it
corners worn
memories edged in comfort
faded

but i sweat no more
