Favre will appear on Buck's show

Posted: Jun. 14, 2009

Ending weeks of speculation and sometimes contradictory reports, former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is set to answer questions live on national television Monday night about his plans to play for the Minnesota Vikings.

Favre will be interviewed one-on-one by Joe Buck, the lead NFL game announcer for Fox Sports.

Buck is scheduled to interview Favre on the debut of Buck's show on HBO, "Joe Buck Live." The show will take place before a live audience in New York. According to a spokesman for the show, the plan is for Favre to be interviewed live on stage, but if that cannot be worked out, then Buck will interview Favre via satellite.

"Joe Buck Live," a one-hour show, airs at 8 p.m. Central on Monday on HBO.

1. NASA has just announced that there are two man-made things...
...you can view from space. The Great Wall and Brett Favre's ego.

ever questioning my greatness."

3. "You're right, Joe Buck, perhaps I should have stayed retired so I might
have a shred of my reputation intact instead of people now knowing what an arrogant, bitter, revenge-seeking p**ck I am."

7. Thanks...so far nothing has happened in the last few days...
...I'm sure it's one of the homeless whose brain has been severely damaged by alcohol. I may post a sign saying this is being watched by the police to see if that puts the fear of God into him.

6. How very sad
He was great once, but it's kind of pathetic to watch him become a bitter, vindictive old man.

11. Kind Of Young To Be This Old, Isn't He?
I agree with your description of him, but it seems even worse that a guy his age is already a bitter OLD man. An angry young man might not be better, i suppose, but he does seem like some bitter 75 year old telling kids to stay off his lawn.

8. "Diva Favre" conjures up an image of him standing on stage in a Viking costume,
and I mean a real Viking costme, ready to belt out an aria. Put long blonde pigtails on him.

9. This Packer fan is glad to see Favre go to the Vikings
It will be all the more satisfying when Aaron Kampman drives his diva ass into the ground.
