Congrats Pittsburgh fans!
That was a hell of a series, the Pens deserved the Cup, and now you get your second parade in 6 months.

Enjoy the ride! :toast:

1. You're not very nice to the lunch bucket cities are you?
Haven't they been through enough without every single last one of us cheering for Detroit.

What are you so hostile?

2. LOL. I admit to rooting for Detroit due to Chelios.
And due to me not liking the Pens. But it was a damn good series, so I'm happy either way (even if it still stings that it isn't Boston...again).

The Pirates may suck, but with two titles in 6 months the city is earning some major bragging rights.

It was a fun series, and Penguin fans should be rewarded with some fun.

6. And That Has What To Do With The Subject
Geez, try really hard to keep hard to keep up, shall we? I never said the Cubs would win the WS. However, since you are the one who insists that people should root for the teams to whom they're closest, you should be the last one to suggest what you did. Of course, logic isn't your strong suit. Give mommy her computer back, little boy.

Buffonery in action.

7. One thing I enjoy almost as much as watching the Dodgers lose, is
reminding Cubs fans that they won't yet again for another year, win the World Series .. and then sitting back and watch the fireworks when they lose their composure in response to my public service announcement.

LOL

And huh come they're not going to win the WS this year GAC? How many seasons of spending $135,050,000, third highest in all of Major League Baseball, do you guys need?

What a disgrace.

8. Here are more Chicago Cubs fun facts for today, Saturday June 13!!
2, 0

Third highest payroll team in now below .500! :wow:

• The Twins are 2-0 at Wrigley Field so far in this series after going 1-7 there all-time before this year.

• The Cubs were shut out for just the second time in 88 interleague home games -- both times by the Twins (8-0 loss July 17, 1997).

• Jason Kubel homered, his fourth in the last five games. Three of the four have been solo shots.
