Jennifer Jones, a 30-year-old corporate lawyer from Winnipeg, made a spectacular come-from-behind shot to win the Canadian women's curling championship.

Jones talks with NPR's Melissa Block about what some sports commentators say could be one of the best curling shots in history.

cbc has been showing a lot more curling now that nhl is canceled.

3. ABC's Wide World of Sports had Curling when I was a Kid

I always liked it WAY better than Shuffle Board.:silly:

I do wish we got more of that, but the U.S. T.V. networks won't show anything anymore, if it doesn't ROCK the ratings.:smoke:

4. So did I...that shot kicked ass...

It was the curling equivalent of throwing a hail mary pass for a game-winning touchdown from your own 30 yard line with 5 seconds left in the game.

nice shot. I remember watching curling during the last winter olympics and thinking it was like, the coolest sport ever.
