That should make you happy. Or are you really rooting for some other team?

9. I'm rooting for UT (Univ. of Tennessee) first. But when they lose
to Pitt, I hope CAL will still be alive and I will pull for them.

I would also like to see East Tennessee State upset Pitt, but that's not happening.

12. There cannot be two UTs
There can be three OSUs. But there can't be two UTs. The bigger university prevails. The university with the better shade of orange prevails. The university with the better academics prevails. The university with the bigger endowment prevails. The university with the prettier coeds prevails.

Get used to it TU alumn.

16. But allow me to slide in a trump all of that with
the fact Taxas has fewer football National Championships.

UH OH!

Not to mention we average over 100,000 per game. I don't think they get that in Austin.

18. Your capacity may be a mere 10,000 more but I beg to differ on National Champions.
Since 1936 UT has four. TU has two.

And those five that TU has before 1936 are all shared.

19. Actually UT has six. It's correct that Texas has four.
We were National Champions in:

1998
1967
1951
1950
1940
1938

That's six! We have two more! :bounce:

23. Bull!
From Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Tennessee_football

Tennessee claims 6 national championships. The following is a list of the 6 national championships listed by the Vols. Only four (1938, 1950, 1951, and 1998) were recognized by major polls. The Associated Press has only acknowledged Tennessee as National Champions twice, but the #1 Vols lost in the Sugar Bowl in 1951 after being claimed National Champs. Only the 1998 team finished the year as universal and undisputed National Champions.

25. Oh boy

I guess they should just rename Neyland Stadium .. you know, the one named after the coach who led Tennessee to its first four national championships.

And we've had two since 1951, for a total of six.

All of your bold type doesn't change history.

28. No, it's oxycontin to me and I love the attention.
I don't blame you for being furious that I handed you your ass on a platter, you national championship cheater.

Gee, I'm sooooo insecure, I'll just take away another school's trophies, because I will cry if we don't have the most championships ... you know, at the one and only UT! :eyes:

That was me imitating you, by the way.

24. Tennessee only has six if you count Dunkel, Litkenhouse etc.
If you count the off-brands, Texas actually has eight national championships (41,63,68,69,70,77,81,05)

If you limit it to AP/BCS, the count is Texas four (63,69,70,05) and Tennessee two (51,98).

6. not a very adventurous bracket
The sweet 16 is all according to seed except for two five seeds; the elite 8 is all chalk except for Syracuse, a 3 seed, and there are only five first-round games where he picked the lower seed. Two of those were in 8-9 games. Here's hoping the real tournament is a bit more unpredictable :)

Still, all in good fun, and I think it's pretty cool that Obama released his bracket toast:

13. Mr. Prez a Tar-Heel
everyday I find another reason to appreciate him. Being a Tar-Heel (at least by his picks) is great. Wonder if that is following his gut or the fact he got to scrimmage with the teams back during the election campaign? Who had the bigger rush that day? The prez for playing hoops with some of the best college players OR the Tar-Heel players for playing with a future president?

but the weasel didn't release them. We have to wait until each game is over to see his results.

You may have to log in to see them. Just give a phony name and e-mail.

But I can't tell if old "Country First" has picked UNC or Louisville to win it all. Am I missing something?

31. The President is trailing Senator McCain right now
Barack has lost 8 picks and John has lost 6. Neither one is all that great.

One funny thing - one of the leaders in McCain's contest is named "M. Queer". He/she has only one bad pick so far.

McCain 106 - Obama 86

Better than any DUer.

He isn't going to "bomb, bomb, bomb" in this poll.
