T.J. Houshmandzadeh will sign with Seahawks

T.J. Houshmandzadeh, the top free-agent receiver, has agreed to sign with the Seahawks, according to ESPN.

The five-year deal will pay Houshmandzadeh at least $15 million and as much as $40 million. Houshmandzadeh, 31, chose the Seahawks over Minnesota and re-signing with Cincinnati.

Houshmandzadeh has caught more than 90 passes in three straight seasons. The Seahawks were led in receptions last season by rookie tight end John Carlson, who caught 55 passes. No Seattle wide receiver caught more than 47 passes.
