1. Hope not, I'd rather see McCombs and Tice get "traded" frankly.
;)

3. Which wouldn't?
;)

Moss is our team. My husband thinks we should trade him too, I think we should get a good coach instead.

12. I think Burleson and Campbell are actually very good receivers.

and dante is actually underrated as a QB, at least as far as there is an impression that he's only as good as he is because of moss.

having seen the vikings embrace in a death grapple twice with green bay twice this year (in fact, twice every year), I think that moss is probably one of the top 3 receivers in the NFL, but saying that he is "the team" is a massive overstatement. the only position that can have that sort of influence on the overall team is probably QB, and maybe RB. everything else can be "got around".

minnyhaha was infinitely better when they had a running game. they would be better overall without moss, but with a top tier RB.

14. I think he's a HUGE part of our team. Dante is ok, but when they don't
play Moss it makes a difference in the outcome.

:hi:

6. He'll go to the Jets for one of three scenarios
1. To the Jets for John Abraham and a pair of second round picks.

2. To the Jets for two first round picks and a second round pick.

3. To the Jets for two first round picks and Justin McCarens/Santana Moss.

7. The Ravens are openly lobbying for him.
There's been a lot of talk about the Vikings being tired of his act all throughout the year. My guess is that he's gone and Baltimore is the likely destination. The school of thought is that Ray Lewis will keep him in line so they aren't worried about his cancerous personality in the locker room.

9. maybe they should just cut the bastard altogether.
moss isn't worth anybody's trouble. he's a good player, but his ego will always be bigger than his game.

10. I hope not
If they do, they will likely never win more than 8 games a year. Face it, he IS the team.

15. At first I thought that too.
But consider two of the games we lost with him out this year - Indy, GB. A good defensive stand on one or two series in those games, and we would have won. This team has a powerful offense with or without Moss and yes of course his gamebreaking ability would be missed A LOT. But I don't think the Vikes would totally stink without him. It could be said we stank WITH him, if you look at 2001, 2002, and maybe even this year (remember, just 8 wins).

The only way I'm for trading him is to get a Herschel Walker-type deal in return. A defensive starter or two, and a boatload of picks.

13. He'll be gone before next season, and the Ravens will have him
I think Moss carries a bit too much crap with him to be tolerated in Minnesota anymore.
