There's no question that the two best conferences in America are the Big 12 and the SEC. Perhaps you would prefer the Big 10 champion versus the MAC champion....those two conferences are about equal in talent.

...two Big 12 teams play for the title this year. The Big 12 south alone is better than the SEC this year (OSU, OU, UT, TT) and Mizzou in the Big 12 north is better than half of the SEC. Oh, by the way, the only SEC team that would stand a chance against USC is UF and Bama. That is why I think the best title match up would be USC vs. Big 12 champion.

7. Year in and year out the SEC is the best

they boast the last two BCS Champions and 3 out of the last 5. To contend that the Big 12 South is better than the SEC is ridiculous, particularly since they don't play any defense. We've seen so called unbeatable Big 12 South teams go down before. I like USC but they had their chance, they blew it against Oregon State and even when winning have looked inconsistent against a weak Pac 10. The BCS Championship game should be between the champions of the two best conferences.
