2. I agree
This should be a great game. As a Titans fan I hope you are wrong about the score well at least who wins. I think it may come down to who kicks the last field goal to win the game. Coach Fisher said that the Jets are doing great on all 3, Offense, defense and special teams. I am looking forward to watching it as I yell at the television and the players. We will have to meet back here on Monday.

3. I'm taking the Jets, too - as much as it pains me to say that.
Tennessee is primed for a letdown, after two straight emotional wins, one on the road, then one in the division. They're now going up against a non-division opponent, although it is a home game.

4. Weren't the Jets originally called the Titans?
I'm excited about seeing the Cowboys-49ers just to see which teams show up. The Cowboys team that lost to the Rams or the one that held the Redskins to 10 points?

The 49ers team that destroyed the Rams or that lost to the Seahawks by three touchdowns?

11. Yes. The New York Titans were a horrible team.
It seems appropriate that the team changed its name at the same time they signed Joe Namath for the then-unheard of bonus of $400K.

5. If I was betting I'd take the Titans giving up the 4.5 points.
It's one of the games this week that's tempting me.

7. Keep in mind the Jets are better than their record. They lost to the Raiders
on a 69 yard OT field goal.

8. Titans 30 - Jets 7
I don't have much faith in my boys this week.

9. Jets are better than their record. They've gelled. I still see some lapses
in the secondary but their line on both sides of the ball is what is winning them games. Faneca was a huge acquisition.

10. Titans Stunk
I really expected a much better game yesterday, I knew that it would be a tough game but for the Titans to drop so many balls and just stink so badly was unexpected. I ended up turning it off and doing other things. So a job well done the to the Jets. We may meet again in the playoffs.

12. Jets do a good thing
From the Sunday edition of the Tennesseean

>> Pat Schoen drives a bus, transporting visiting teams playing the Titans and Predators. Schoen's mother, Gloria, died the day the Titans played the Jets.

Pat already had taken the Jets to LP Field when he heard the news.

When the Jets boarded the bus after the game, they noticed a substitute driver and asked where Pat was. The substitute driver informed them of Pat's loss.

When Pat and his father, Ken Schoen, arrived at St. Henry's Catholic Church for the wake Tuesday, they began going through the cards on the flowers friends had sent.

Prominently displayed under a family photo collection was a white basket filled with white flowers. It was from the New York Jets.

I just want to say Hats Off to the Jets for their act of kindness towards this family. All of their fans should be proud of them for what they did off the field that day as well.
