Those of you not Detroit Lions fans have really missed out, the past 51 years.
Actually, I have only followed them since 1962, but in 51 years, they have won one playoff game. One.

Today was perfect: They had a 25-24 lead over the Packers with six minutes left, and lost 48-25. Only the Lions could collapse like that. The Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings have all had their moments, but the Lions are eternal. There is something perversely comforting in knowing that in this crazy world, at least one thing will never change.
