Now that Favre has been traded to the Jets...

1. I still don't think they'll do much with the Pats in their division & AFC South looking good nt

2. Of course.
Adding an aged, mediocre QB doesn't help them one bit.

3. I hope not
They're my second favorite team behind the Dolphins. I love this move. The league is always better when the New York teams are relevant.

Besides, theoretically this gives the Jets more chance to beat the Pats. I'm still worried about New England going unbeaten. It makes no sense until the season starts and the imbalance is every bit as glaring as in recent years.

Can't we have one year with no unbeatens after 5 or 6 weeks?

4. I sort of liked them...UNTIL NOW!
Let's hope Brett stays on the bench all season, the media-grabbing twit.

5. I think they are a 9-7 team with Favre
Would be 6-10 without him

They hit New England and San Diego in weeks 2 and 3, so it may be a rough start.

8. I could see 9-7. But that won't get them in the playoffs in the AFC.

10. One can vote for both options
They suck less now than they did before. They still suck.

And Mr. Favre better take out extra insurance on his knees. He won't have as good an offensive line as he had in Green Bay.

12. Actually SI just last week named the Jets as improving their
O-line. A big part is the addition of Alan Faneca.

11. Take the 2007 Packers...
Downgrade the defense a little, downgrade the receivers a fair amount, downgrade the pass protection a good bit and upgrade the Running game a little, and you have the 2008 New York Jets.

14. If a Packer fan can weigh in...
Too many times, Dumb Brett shows up to games, especially in the playoffs. He might be able to get them in as a wild card, but that'll be it - I predict five picks thrown against their first-round opponent.

15. It's a tough call
the Jets spent plenty of $$$ this off season to improve. If all that talent can gell they could be a pretty good team. If they don't, you will have the AFC version of the Redskins.
