2009-10 NHL Winter Classic - Detroit v Chicago......at Wrigley Field.
There will be no talk of curses allowed. Goats aren't welcome. If somebody wants to call his shot, well that's OK, but probably not recommended, because this is hockey and the goalie won't like it too much.

Oh yes, Wrigley Field is notorious for some of baseball's legendary -- and spookiest stories -- since it was built in 1914 around Clark and Addison Streets, and Sheffield and Waveland Avenues on the North Side of Chicago.

Jan. 1, 2009 figures to be another historic day for the venerable old ballpark when it opens its doors to the National Hockey League for NHL Winter Classic 2009, which this time features an Original Six matchup.

3. I don't understand why they don't do it more often
After the widely ignored debacle of this year's Cup Final they need more of this kind of thing.

8. That's kind of harsh

Granted alot of people don't care about hockey, but the ratings were sharply up over the previous year, and the highest in 7 years. Ratings the NHL should build on.

But yeah they do need more of this.

5. B's vs. Rangers - old time rivalry
:-)

Now, the NHL should get rid of Gary Bettman.

7. The Bruins are trying to get a game at Fenway.
But they want it to be against Montreal.

All I know is that regardless of who they play, if the B's play at Fenway I'm doing all I can to go to it. :)

6. Both the Bruins and Sox have agreed to doing that.
The Bruins have brought it up with the NHL, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen within a year or two. The Bruins want it to be against Montreal, a clash of original 6 teams. We'd have to call it Fenway Puck.
