1. What a truly unimportant event the Super Bowl is. It's really nothing
more than a TV show held together by commercials that celebrate the worst of American culture. Wait - - - I guess it IS important after all!!

5. We don't have broadcast/cable TV...
...and it's amazing how little we hear about stuff like this. Once you're out of the media cocoon, life takes on quite a different perspective.

6. There's very little television I watch these days, and when I do, it
amazes me not simply what's on, but how many damn commercials they're getting away with now!
