The spectre of the great New York Giants - Green Bay Packer teams of the 1960s rejoices at the upcoming REDUX collision of the Giants and the Packers in the NFC Championship game.

It should be a doozy of a game, with Ancient History in the background. I am laying in a supply of popcorn for next weekend.

Bring it on...

Y.A. Tittle

Play it again, Sam Huff

2. I gotta admit Strahan and Pierce were fucking hilarious.
"Maybe TO and Crayton can sit at home and watch us next weekend."

5. Why Didn't That Punk Get A Penalty/Fine For That?
Or the running back from KC (waving & then planting a flag in the endzone after a TD)?

4. Yeah, I remember it, too. My old man was guzzling brewskis on the couch
and me and my brothers were sprawled on the rug,

Good football. Gut football.

6. I actually have a copy of the '61 championship on dvd
it's a CBS broadcast in B&W w/ Chris Schenkel doing the play-by-play. The game itself was rather boring with the Packers winning 37-0, but it's cool to watch with all of the old Hall of Famers. PLus it was played on the frozen tundra.
