1. I'll take two tickets - 50 Yard Line
on any field you can make it happen.

2. LSU would not have won a playoff system this year...
...they were not at their best at the end of the season, and they beat an over-rated OSU team AT home.

3. You don't have to be at your best
to beat Ohio State. And Joey, OSU was the home team. I agree that LSU may have had a difficult time getting to the final game of a playoff IF they had to play another SEC team along the way. "End of the Season?" Are you referring to the Arkansas game when they went toe to toe in three overtimes only to lose when a two point conversion was intercepted in the end zone? Even though they lost "at the end of the season" LSU looked pretty damned scary in that game and with their best defensive player hobbling on the field.

4. Technically OSU was the "home team" who just happened to play
in LSU's backyard filled with LSU fans.

6. I just like
poking the animal in the cage. Did I mention that OSU was the home team in the BCS championship game? Not quite backyard but in the neighborhood. Its a long hard drive from NOLA to Red Stick. Hey can't we all get along? New Orleans is practically in Ohio. Ya just go east a little ways and north a little ways and boom you're there.

I'm urging those Big Ten fans to petition the NCAA for a BCS bowl game (or games) to be played in Ohio or Michigan or Wisconsin or wherever they'd like.

8. Kind of like Anchorage is in my backyard, since my
sister lives there?

10. Ahhh, the old faith based thing. Reminds me,
will the patriots be raptured and join up with old Jerry Falwell?

If you're the home team you should be able to play closer
to home...not in the visiting team's back yard.

USC looked pretty darn good, so did West Virginia and Kansas and Missouri.

I think this joke of a "national championship" is good in that at least there's a lot of talk about changing the system...let's see if the talk goes anywhere.

7. I'm on your side teammate
but I read, right here on DU sports board not too long ago, that one of the conferences that opposed a playoff was the Big Ten. In the mean time I continue to urge Big Ten fans to raise cane with the NCAA for a bowl game up there. I guarantee they won't listen to me.

12. Ohio played Florida "at home" last year.....
they had 70% of the fans. Does that make it a home game? LSU doesn't play in that stadium the beat Ohio in the other day unless they go to The Sugar Bowl like any other SEC Champ.

Ohio, in spite of playing "at home" vs Florida, last year got 84 total yards in the game and lost 41-14.
