Sports Media Oversold Hornets?

Did the sports media oversell the New Orleans Hornets? Recently, I have been seeing and hearing people in the sports media talk about the Hornets and how they might make a run in the playoffs. Last night the Hornets went up against the Los Angeles Lakers and were crushed. The Hornets lost by about 20+ points. It seem that the Lakers are the best team in the Western Conference. So what do other think?

1. I suggest the jury is out, Way Out on the Hornets

The Lakers are 23-11, the Hornets are 23-12.

The Hornets beat the Lakers in LA 118-104 on November 6th.

I'm not sold that the Hornets have been oversold. In fact I don't know what oversold means in reference to the Hornets.

But after 35 games they are certainly "making a run at the playoffs."

team from New Orleans...not the Hornets, who are still playing very well despite the loss to L.A.
