1. Nascar throws Dale Jr's spotter out for openly criticizing Nascar ruling
They would not allow him to attend Sunday's race where he was schedule to spot for Dale Jr. at Homestead. He allegedly made disparaging remarks about the Nascar officials over the radio during the truck race on Friday. Nascar said he was disrespectful to them. Isn't that a violation of Freedom of Speech? I think Nascar or any other organization that can punish you for something you say is getting totally out of hand. This wasn't even something that was broadcast to the public, but over a scanner. I am a Nascar fan, but this censorship is really getting to me. I hope there is a huge uproar over this.
They decide which rules apply and which don't and to who they apply and don't. If you don't agree with them you can appeal to- NA$CAR!! As for the new points system, I liked the old system. One change I would like to see is more points for winning, 20 or 25 not just 5 extra.
cause he was on the team radio talking to his driver. NASCAR shouldn't just kick someone out just because he hurt their feelings. It wasn't a public comment. From what I've read, the officals gave him the "lucky dog" then took it back.
Maybe they wanted to make sure Dale Jr. finished more than 25 points behind so they wouldn't look like idiots for taking points away.
