1. Rice
Moss has the physical potential to be the best ever, but isn't even close mentally. He would be unstoppable if he had the dedication and focus that most of the others on this list do. TO gets a lot of bad press too, but the man at least works his ass off.

2. Jerry Rice Has The Stats... Certainly The Most Consistent...
but I can name a bunch of receivers more fun to watch...

I love receivers who run flat out super fast fly patterns...

Nothing but speed...

Like a young Paul Warfield or Mark Duper...

4. Don Hutson
not to mention Art Monk, John Stallworth, etc., etc., etc. All better receivers than Lynn Swann who is basically in the Hall of Fame for 2-3 great receptions he made in his career that just happened to occur in the Super Bowl.

8. I know, I know
but my vote went to Lynn Swann anyway. He's the only Steeler in the poll.

GO STEELERS!

18. Don Hutson changed the game
His records stood for many, many years. People forget about him because no one here has seen him play.

7. Chose Paul Warfield.
I really miss his talent and his temperament.

The latter is sorely, sorely missing in today's NFL.

9. Absolutely no contest
Jerry Rice. Maybe someday someone better will come along, but I'll probably be in my grave by then.

10. Take Rice's name out and we can try for second best.
I'll go with Harold Carmichael who held the record with over 100 consecutive games with at least one catch. Its been broken a couple of times since Harold, but its still impressive. Great receiver on a some pretty bad Eagle teams.

Another great Eagle was Mike Quick, another guy who had a great career.

11. Rice, no doubt
A current player that has a chance to eventually take over that title: Torry Holt. Nobody talks about him, but he consistently pulls in 80-90 catches a season, makes big plays, gets anywhere from 1300-1600 yards a year, and goes to the Pro Bowl every season. Sounds like a great one to me. Marvin Harrison has a chance too.

20. Jerry Rice, who else? Bullet Bob Hayes was a lot of fun to watch, though.
Unfortunately, he got into trouble over drugs as Michael Irvin did, but at least he was no longer playing at the time.

22. You can't include Owens without including Moss
He will have more catches and yards then TO when it is all said and done.

23. You can't include Owens or Moss at this point...
Perhaps (and most likely) they can be included in the debate some day, along with Marvin Harrison, but not now...

25. Moss easily has G.O.A.T potential; I wouldn't include him or TO now though
He probably has the best physical ability by far, but is pretty far behind Rice mentally. If he ever started focusing, training hard, and playing to his potential, he would be unstoppable. I wouldn't include TO now either, but think that he could and probably will be on the list someday.

26. Is this even a debate?
This is probably the easiest debate in all of sports. Rice without a doubt.
