1. Four of the sweetest words there have ever been.
Is this the year my Cubs finally win it all? Are the Tigers for real? What can St. Louis do for an encore? Will ESPN finally get their collective heads out their collective asses and realize that the last two WS winners are Midwestern teams and not named the Yankees or Red Sox? Lots of questions, answers coming.

4. Keep an eye on the Phillies this year
The Cardinals did well enough last year to come in third in the NL East. I'd like that for an encore from them.

9. To answer your first question, I doubt it.
Soriano will help, but the Cubs have a ways to go before the World Series. I agree with you about the Red Sox and Yankees being overhyped, though I like the Yankees a lot better than the Red Sox.
