SATURDAY - JANUARY 6TH, 2007
Kansas City @ Indianapolis -- Peyton Manning/Marvin Harrison v. crap defense. Larry Johnson/Offensive line v. shit defensive line. This will be a HUGE shootout, but track record goes to Indi. The line is Indi -7 and the Over/Under is 51. Take the points and the over. This will be an offensive showdown.
Colts to win and beat the spread. Take the over.
Dallas @ Seattle -- Ever have a game you didn't care about? This is it. Who cares? Romo v. Hasselback? Jones v. Alexander? It's me v. comatose watching this game. Okay, they are evenly matched, but Dallas is young, TO is ripping (another) the team apart and the defending NFC Champs are playing at home. The line is Seattle -2.5 and the Over/Under is 47.5. Seattle to win and beat the spread. Take the under. I love spreads under a field goal. What the bookers are telling you is. . ."we haven't a clue."
Seahawks to win and cover. Take the under.
SUNDAY, JANAURY 7TH, 2007
New York Jets @ New England -- I am a Buffalo fan. In the regular season, I have two favorite teams: The Bills and anyone playing New England. Personally, I believe the Jets can upset this year. As much as it pains me, I will take the Jets in a REAL close one. The line is New England -8.5 and the Over/Under is 38.5. Take the Jets for the upset and the under. This will be another low scoring game.
Jets to upset. Take the under.
New York Giants @ Philadelphia -- Tiki v. Westbrook. Shitty Eli v. Crappy Garcia. If "made of glass" McNabb was there, the Eagles would role. But, I like the Giants to upset the inconsistent Eagles. With that said, neither of these two teams will survive the next round if they play Chicago. If they play the Saints, they may make it to the NFC championship game. The line is Philly -7 and the Over/Under is 46. Take the Giants to upset and take the under. The total score may make 43, but not much more, barring a huge meltdown by either side.
Giants for the upset. Take the under.
MONDAY, JANAURY 8TH, 2007
BCS -- Ohio State V. Florida One simple sentence. Unless OSU lives up to its choking away the big one history, Florida doesn't stand a chance. OSU to win, OSU to roll, OSU to dominate. The line is OSU -7.5 and the Over/Under is 46. Take the points and the over. OSU will be your national champion this year!
OSU to beat the spread. Take the over.
