''I'm disappointed that I'm being victimized a little bit here,'' Saban said. ``
Oh Fuck you you lying piece of shit.

<snip>
''When you lie to somebody, you're trying to deceive them,'' Saban said. 'I wasn't trying to deceive anybody. I was focused on the season, and I was working. I don't want this to be a distraction to the team, so I say, `No.' ''

Oh Fuck you you lying piece of shit.

There ain't no doubt in my mind that when Alabama fired Mike Shula you had your agent call them. You set this shit up back then and then proceeded to lie your ass off to the media, fans and to the Dolphin organization.

Fuck you you lying piece of shit.

You fucking hack...couldn't make it in the big leagues so you go running back to the minors. I will curse you the rest of my life you fucking piece of shit and every single day during the rest of your tenure (probably 3 years until you bale on the Tide) I will pray to the Lord all mighty that you will drive Alabama into the fucking ground. I will pray that they chase you out of Alabama and that the ghost of Bear Bryant haunts you every fucking night of your life.

Oh...and to all you giddy Alabama fans who think you scored a major bonanza with this lying piece of shit......you didn't score shit....all you scored is a guy who talks character but has none of it.... Fucking Dick Cheney/OJ Simpson has more honor than your new fucking coach.

You're a coward, Liar and a quitter Nick Saban.... AND of course you're a fucking piece of shit.

Burn in hell Nick Saban...Burn in Hell.....!!!@!!!!

1. I couldn't have said it better myself
Goodbye Nick, you sanctimonious, arrogant, no good piece of trash.

Nick knew damn well that he was thinking about Alabama.

For one Saturday next fall, I'll be a full-fledged fan of the FSU Seminoles. Unfortunately, my Gators won't get a shot at him until 2008.

12. Scenario presented was that someone within Miami would keep coaching spot warm
until Cowher was free and clear of his contract with Steelers. Also that Cowher could be employed as a consultant during that time.

3. Well, pitch a fit and stomp your feet if you must...
but it won't do you any good. Which are you-- mad at him for leaving, or glad he's gone 'cause he's a bad coach? You can't have it both ways. Most of the "outrage" I've seen from Dolphins fans seems to be embarrassment that a pro team's coach would leave to take a job (and a pay cut) at a college.

I'm a Bama fan but I wouldn't say I'm "giddy." More like cautiously optimistic. If he leaves Alabama before his contract is up and we're in the same situation as LSU, I'd be ok with that.

Bottom line: It wasn't working out at Miami for him or Miami. He left, and Miami has plenty of time to get a good replacement.

5. My other problem is he didn't improve anything significant
Instead of getting young talented beasts on the offensive line he thought Hudson Houck could work miracles.

He drafted a 5th year senior RB with the second pick in the draft. Think about that a little bit. It doesn't compute at all. If you are a superstar RB you never make it to your 4th year, let alone 5th year. Can you imagine Reggie Bush redshirting and staying 5 years at USC? Ronnie Brown is a good back but no chance in hell would I have taken him with the #2 pick. I was posting that on many sites ahead of time. There had to be someone better, even if not an obvious choice. Saban settled for Brown then this year he settled in the middle of the first round for Jason Allen, a workout wonder type who runs phenomenal times in the shuttle run but never makes plays on the field.

I don't fault the Culpepper decision but unless he returns to full pre-injury form, or beyond, the Saban years are a personnel bust. Guys like Travis Daniels and Matt Roth are OK but you need star players to make a difference in this league and Saban flopped bigtime.

Meanwhile, he trades a 6th round pick for Joey Harrington. Brilliant. Harrington has played 69 NFL games and has managed 7+ yards per attempt in 14 of them. Trust me, that is other wordly incompetence, 14-55. The mainstream media never focuses on that simple stat but it is basic to winning. Harrington thrills to throw short masochistic passes and somehow Nick Saban not only traded for him, but played him. Hardly an overwhelming shock that Harrington managed 7 yards per attempt in only one game this year, fittingly at Detroit. He went the entire 2003 season without managing 7 YPPA a single time.

It was two wasted years. I don't care what Saban does at Alabama. The Canes avoiding Mike Leach and the Dolphins losing Nick Saban feels like dual jackpots the past few weeks.

11. He lied with a straight face, and yet his agent was doing all his talking.
Glad to see that piece of shit leave, the guy has no class..hopefully the bama fans will realize it - you know he'll do the same to them...it's in his nature.

6. Nothing against Bama fans--really
but please don't try to dress this classless turd up and try and turn him into a rose.

Put yourself in our shoes and see how you'd feel if he baled after 2 years at Bama for Dan Snyder and his millions---especially after telling you repeatedly and in a pissy way that there was no way he was leaving....

But that would be OK with you?---yeah right!

7. He did the same thing to LSU
He said he wasn't leaving and then he left. He is affectionately referred to in Baton Rouge as Nick Satan.

8. But at least he completed the job there...
And was there for 5 years.

He baled on this one.
