I love the French football team. Who else would have a semiologist and structuralist in goal.

Now the French philosophers are faced with the ontological problem of possibly not qualifying for the next round.

2. THIS IS #@$^%&*
France clearly scored a second goal, but as usual, the refs had to SUCK and didn't count it. Next, some Korean jacka** doesn't even get touched but falls to the ground in dramatic style, giving the French player his second yellow of the group stage. This then sets off a series of events which leads to the most insipid goal I've ever seen, as the bastards in red unfortunately and undeservingly even the score through pure luck (all this demonstrates how the Korean soccer team hates truth, justice and the world and they are a mockery of everything good in the universe). As if that wasn't enough, on the same play were Henry shows his pedigree in f*cking up sure goals (CHIP THE GOALIE! PUT IT INTO THE SIDE NETTING! ROUND THE KEEPER! ANYTHING BUT YOUR USUAL CASUAL SHOT THAT IS FAR TOO CLOSE TO THE KEEPER!), Zidane gets a yellow on the most atrocious dive I've ever seen, and again, as usual, the idiotic ref falls for it. This means that one of the greatest players of recent memory does not get a chance to play in what may be his final match.

I HATE KOREA. I HATE THE REFS. I HATE THIS TOURNAMENT.

4. The refs have been Totally Sucky so far
in every game I have seen, especially yesterday's USA-Italy match.

5. One thing that is needed
is the use of technology to confirm if the ball has crossed the line or not. It's difficult to see any reason why that should not be introduced.
