Come on Pistons!
Wake up! We can take these guys. Sure, it'll be against everything the networks and the NBA wants, but we can win this! Let's have another blowout! We can do it!

1. Yeah, but only if we start getting some calls.
I swear I'm going to throw something through my tv if Van-whatever his name is starts pulling that moving screen shit again! And I'm not talking slight movement. Game 4 he had at least 8 moving screens for Lebron where he took 2 or 3 steps!

Not that Cleveland doesn't deserve props for how they've hung in there, especially game 3. But, honestly, how many fouls did the Pistons' starters rack up in the 1st half of game 5? I call bullshit.

2. I know. I don't know why they have it in for the Pistons
Game 4, the announcers even admitted that Cleveland was committing fouls at the end that didn't get called.

What's not to like about the Pistons? I mean, really. They are about the most likeable team in the league and the NBA, the announcers, and the officials all seem to hate them.

6. Do Not Hate Pistons
The media, the NBA, the announcers, and the officials do not hate the Pistons. I think you should think about the team they are playing, one person in particular, and think about the storyline the NBA and ESPN can come up with if the Pistons lose in the second round. I think you Pistons fans will see your team finally get the respect they deserve from the media, the NBA, and the announcers; however, you fans will not or possiblly will not like how they give your team that respect. I think you will get the respect only to prop up the legacy of Lebron James. Overnight your team will go from the weakest NBA champions ever to the former champions and possiblly one of the best teams ever. So, I do not think they hate your team they just like the story line they can push if the Cavaliers win the series. However, I do think the Pistons have not played as well as they could have.

as defensive player of the year.

10. King James has been dethroned...
By the Prince of the Palace. Tayshaun was incredible -- Pistons' series MVP hands down.

Best sign of the series; I saw this yesterday:

WITNESS THIS, LEBRON,
DEE-TROIT BASKETBALL

My sentiments exactly. Now go beat the Heat!

11. this thread could have been posted this evening.
WTF is their problem? Its not arrogance, its something way stranger...

Its sad, Cleveland should have been put away in 5 and Miami doesnt look too easy as of yet.

I hope the Heat makes it to the finals so he can have another chance.

13. I think the problem last night was exhaustion
When you miss easy shots, it's usually because of fatigue. If even three more shots would have gone in, the good guys would have won.

17. Me Too
I'm tired of the Pistons with their arrogance and disrespect for their opponents.

It reminds me of a public figure who is the bane of these boards.

18. No, they didn't.
Even if I wasn't from Michigan, I would have to root for the Pistons because they are from a BLUE STATE. The people of Florida deserve no respect from me and the rest of the world. Screw 'em.

I sure do wish the Knicks were good. Until they are, I really love to watch the Piston.

15. The Net's are coming or at least moving to the other side of the river
Having a good team isn't all it's cracked up to be, but probably is much more fun :-)

Living near Los Angeles with TWO teams getting better all the time gives a dilemma also.
