:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Leaves fans or Cubs fans - which are more deluded?

And no, there's no reason to turn this into a conversation about the Hawks. There's nothing you can say that I haven't heard.

6. Those were the days
I was 4 when they won their last Cup, in 61. ALso had HoF'er Pierre Pilotte along with Wharram and Maki and Flemming and Nesterenko. We're about 6 All-stars short of being a contender right now :eyes:

3. They're not mathematically elimated yet.
If they win all their games and Tampa Bay or the Habs go totally cold, they could grab the 8th spot. :)

I'm pretty annoyed though. Failing to win the cup is one thing; each year 29 teams do that. But failing to make the playoffs. Jeez.

5. Yeah, well
The Hawks have missed the playoffs 9 of the last 10 years, give or take. Then there's our Cup drought, which is now 45 years. Patience...

7. My boys clinched the Presidents Cup tonight.
Hope they don't go early as in other league's best record years.

11. I picked the Sens before the season started,
see no reason to change my pick now. They down the Wings in 6 in the finals. In a mild upset, the Sharks make it to the Campbell final. The Preds would have put up a fight, but w/o Vokoun they go out in round 1.

On the Wales side, the Sens dispatch the Flyers with surprising ease in the CF.

10. Jagr and Forsberg both available for this season. the Hawks got...
Matt Barnaby and Curtis Brown. A close second in the free agent derby :eyes:

You also have Nylander, who was drummed out of Chicago because he didn't play "Blackhawk hockey". :mad:
