lush rimbaugh is once again delving into the world of sports
Lush Rimbaugh is once again using his expertise in sports to comments on athletes he considers over-hyped (remember Donovan McNabb). Yes, you may remember lush from his university days when he lettered in twelve collegiate sports -- all in the same year. Or, when he won the Heisman trophy four years in a row. I mean, lush is the perfect Greek olympian God.

This time Capt. Oxycotin, a twelve time PGA Champion, has decided that Michelle Wie is over-hyped and that it's only because of "PC and femi-nazis" that she gets to play on the circuit.

Here's a note from the article:
Prominent PGA tour golfers have praised Wie. PGA champ Davis Love III said Wie “probably has one of the best golf swings I’ve ever seen, period,” and two-time U.S. Open champion Ernie Els said, “there’s no reason why she shouldn’t be out here.”
***But what do they know. I mean, who you gonna believe, the gaseous windbag or two Champion Golfers?

2. Well I'm sure you remember his
twelve gold medals in swimming and diving at the 1977 Olympics. I mean, he won the gold in the medley relays all by himself.

Edited on Wed Mar-29-06 12:35 AM by smtpgirl
go 2 minutes with any WOMENS NCAA Final Four champion. Hell, let him take Pokey Chapman one on one. Rush will most certainly lose.

Why is that a FAT pub can broadcast on air how to play sports,

I just don't get it

HE WILL LOSE

SO LOSE

this guy just needs to "SHUT UP"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even at Golf, he will lose

When you talk down about a player in any sport, you lose

HE IS NOT A GOOD SPORT

17. damn...
if you put him up against any college woman, from any top accredited school...they would kick his ass....i went to college in Lawrence Ks, and my buddies and i had the oppurtunity to play against some KU basketball girls...three on three...they kicked our asses, yeah i am man enough to admit it...they were, in fact, the best/toughest basketball players i have ever played against, and pretty dirty at the same time, i recieved a ton of elbows and what not into my chest during that pick up game...never played against anyone better...

6. The difference between Rush and the Hindenberg:
One of them's a huge Nazi gasbag...

The other blew up in 1937.

7. it's not PC and feminazis you stupid git
it's marketing. The large companies that pay millions of dollars every year to sponsor golf tournaments happily give one of their rare sponsors exemptions to Ms. Wie, not because of feminism, but because she sells tickets and increases ratings which increases the value of their investment.

When she stops selling tickets and increasing ratings, the freebies will stop. welcome to capitalism, Mr. Limbaugh.

10. Kicker
Here is the kicker. This happened before when people made a big deal about Annika Sorenstam not having to qualify to play in the men's tournament she played in. Rush was not the one doing it, but mainly the same things were said. "If Annika wanted to play with the men then why didn't she go qualify first?" Here is the problem the quarterback from the Washington Redskins was allowed play in the same tournament a few years earlier without having to qualify. The qualifying thing is only an issue when dealing with women.

12. So what *Oxymoron is saying
is that is ok if you are a man and don't qualify for the PGA, BUT if a woman dares to to that she is a pig?

14. they're sponsors exemptions
and they can give them to, quite literally, anyone they want to, who is a member of the PGA (which involves a $35 check). They could invite me, if they wanted to.

His swing isn't even any better than that Chinese girl's.

18. Rush is right--but he's wrong
Edited on Mon Apr-03-06 10:10 AM by rocknation
Wie IS being overhyped, but for a more worrisome reason. The LPGA wants their own Tiger Woods/Michael Jordan/Wayne Gretzky/Williams sisters--a superstar who is SO super, she attracts the interest (and money) of even non-sports fans. But while some can deliver on their superstardom almost overnight, Wie seems to be more like the kind who will need time to grow into the job--and I certainly believe that she can. I also believe that of LeBron James (who the NBA overhyped because they wanted another Michael Jordan). The worrisome part is when it all goes wrong and you end up with a Bode Miller or an Anna Kornukova.
