4. Ha, I got a laugh from
that one! I am a DYED IN THE WOOL 'cats fan, and it has been just PAINFUL to see them this year! Though I am with you in spirit, the fact is that, for the first time in 15 years, I am fearful that our beloved Cats won't even be invited to the tourney!

Can you imagine our proud CATS in the NIT???????? BLEECH!

6. It was mostly in jest.
After that poor showing in Chapel Hill, I'm beginning
to thing that maybe Lute has jumped the shark.

I suppose, then, that my wife and I were a sort of good luck charm, because we moved to Tucson right before the 'Cats started going to the tourney. Those were the days-- Sean Elliot, Kenny Lofton, Steve Kerrrrrrrrr.......

Lute has plenty of good years left in him if he chooses to continue coaching. So enuf of the jumping the shark talk! :)

12. I agree UCONN is the team to beat...
...not sure if they will win it all, though, far too mnay head cases on the team. But Jim Calhoun will have them ready for the tournament, and with all that talent....

Nor does it have a feline-looking mascot.

28. UConn wins it all. Duke out in the round of 32.
Duke is the weakest #1 seed ever--only two decent players and they can barely compete with the worst teams in the ACC.

UConn is the most talented team in the country by far, they're deep, and they're well-coached. No brainer.

32. Now, Lute can help his new wife
concentrate on Lynn Swann's election. I always root for the team from the blue state over the team from the red state, especially if the coach is a rich repuke.
