1. That was the final score?!
Holy shit. Apparently they do better when I can't watch them. :(

2. It wasn't that close.
The Pats looked like they were playing the game at a different speed.

3. They will have to pry the Lombardi trophy from our cold, dead hands
We own it, until we don't own it.

Pats are peaking at the right time. Have won 5 of the last 6.

I know they can take the Colts. I can feel it in my spleen.

Patriots uber alles !

5. I don't doubt it
but at least it looks like the Pats may prove to be more than just a speed bump on the way to Manning's title.

9. Wounded or not the Pats are not a team you want to see in the playoffs.
Nobody wants to play them.

10. Indeed

Would have said the same about the Eagles until this year.

I expect to say that about them next year.

My condolences, MrSlayer. I wanted a rematch. I know there will be one next year, or the year after, or soon.

Nothing but respect for your team. Heal quickly. It ain't the same without you, and not nearly as fun.

12. Yeah it's a shame.
I would have loved a rematch myself. But we'll be back next year. This sort of thing always seems to happen to the Super Bowl loser. Good luck to you. I'd love to see Brady and company walk into Indy and take their heart again.

13. The Bucs have already performed better than expected this ...
year. I figured we'd go 6 & 10 or worse. It's a tribute to the Bucs defense that they've gotten as far as they have. Their O-line is young and still in a building phase. Sims is in his 3rd year but is only now getting some real game experience. All in all they've had a remarkable season and they should still make the playoffs but they don't stand a chance of getting in the super bowl.
