Mooch may be gone
Just heard some speculation on TV that he is going to be fired and Dick Jauron might take over for the remainder of the season. Possibly an announcement as early as tomorrow. Haven't seen anything online. Anyone else heard anything about this?

1. It was reported on ESPN radio (the rumor, not that it happened)
How many times has an NFL coach been fired in the middle of the season?

2. Not many.
He knew this was his last chance. Bringing in Garcia before the half--not even letting Harrington finish the quarter--was an act of desperation. And cluelessness. Harrington wasn't having a horrible game and Mooch thought that the offense just needed a "spark."

Mooch must be the only person on the planet that doesn't see the Lions' problems are a lot more than lack of a "spark."

4. Matt Millen is that team's biggest problem. How that jarhead has...
...kept his position, is beyond me. Mooch is playing with the team Millen gave him. And Millen has shown ZERO ability to put a team together. What a joke.

5. I agree
Millen is worthless. I couldn't believe it when the Fords gave him that contract extension, WHAT were they thinking?

I am so tired of the Lions being such a joke. I'm 45 years old and can't remember a time when they were competitive. Sigh.

6. Well, he's gone now....
...knowing the Lions, they'll probably give Matt Millen a raise now.
