NEW YORK --Albert Pujols won his first National League MVP award, beating Andruw Jones in a close vote Tuesday.

3. Not being a NL fan I really only see them in Playoffs and interleague
I've assumed Pujols would be the favorite but I didn't think it would be as close as it was.

5. I just remember in the series against the Astros--game 5, when
he hit the homer to win it, the announcers were talking him up like it was a done deal.

Anyway, he probably deserves it...and probably is a nice guy, unlike Mr. Girly Slap AL MVP!

Pujols winning I can see, if not agree with, but D-Lee should have finished second, at least.

Pujols from this Braves fan. I like my Andruw Jones. . Oh yes I do. However, Pujols deserved it (Heck he deserved it in the past) so much congrats to him.
