Rex Grossman
I know this is an old story, but I never actually understood what happened. During his freshman or Sophomore year in college Grossman got into trouble. Does anyone know why he got in trouble. This is the trouble he got into before the incident in New Orleans where he and some other University of Flordia player broke curfew and were benched for the first part of the game they played in New Orleans.

3. Really? I remember it being the 2002 Oragne Bowl
against Maryland. I remember Rex not starting becasue of curfew or something. It was his sophomore year and he was 2nd in the Hiesman voting. I was at that game and we killed Maryland. Maybe I am wrong, but I think it was in Miami; the incident you are thinking of.

4. Please don't remind me of that Orange Bowl
Yes, you've got everything right. Grossman missed curfew. Nothing more than that. He was benched the first 20 minutes or so against Maryland, but Florida still rang up something like 650 yards total offense to break the Orange Bowl record. I feel bad for Grossman. He's got the arm and the cocky attitude to make it big in the NFL if he can just stay healthy.

The name missing here is Brock Berlin. I watched that Orange Bowl and as a Canes fan I didn't want Brock Berlin. I still don't want Brock Berlin. Please Coker, reject the damn transfer. We've got all this defense the next few years especially thru 2003 and you can't be serious that there's no one better than bite sized Brock Berlin and all his INTs. He threw two picks against Maryland in that Orange Bowl.
