...Isn't one of the polling services going to start a new method this year whereby they don't release their first one until the season is a few weeks old?

7. Yes and no...
...the BCS is a formula that factors other polls into their computations.

I thought I heard some group is working on getting a bunch of former Div I coaches to start voting in a new poll and one of the facets of it is that it won't start until about a month into the season.
