Thanks for the memories, Goldenballs. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

1. And take your talentless, pushy wife with you!
Good riddance to bad rubbish!

2. My problem with Goldenballs is that he treated MLS with disdain
The man is talented as hell, but he always appeared to have his focus everywhere but MLS. He was supposed to be this great savior swooping into LA to bootstrap MLS to the national consciousness, but his lackluster work rate, his eagerness to loan out to any Euro side that would have him, those showed his true colors (green, as in the $30+ million he racked up here).

Yes, Beckham is unquestionably high in the top 5 list of most talented footballers to play in the US, but the attitude and outlook that came with it was at too high a cost.

3. He and his wife are all about the money...greedy, greedy tools...
If they thought they could make as much staying in England we never would have seen them.

4. At least the Dynamo ate it
you will recall that they abandoned San Jose, which goes all the way back to the NASL. The present Amway-tainted Quakes are an expansion team a la the Cleveland Browns.

5. Only good thing about last night...SSFC gets an automatic CCL berth
One less trip to Central America!
