3. OMG they beat the powerhouse Tulane Green Wave 73-17!
They definitely deserve to ranked above all one loss teams!

4. My coworkers went to the game...
Have you heard the Tulane chant?

"That's all right! That's okay!

You will work for us, someday!"

7. Houston might get into the BCS but not into the title game
no quality wins like Boise St. had over Georgia, for instance. Pity. That one's looking better and better.

8. Saturday was the most disgusting series of results I ever remember
Now we're stuck with either an LSU/Alabama rematch, or one among Oklahoma State, Oklahoma or Oregon taking on LSU. I can't see any of those soft offensive minded teams defeating an SEC power. Luck or Moore against LSU would have been fascinating, and both of those teams have smart physical defenses that could thrive with a month to rest and prepare. The Big 12 will send its typical bubble screen mentality and get buckled.

I attended the Miami/FSU game and seemingly every dunce near me was thrilled that Boise State lost. They were actively pulling for TCU all game. Rooting against Boise State reminds me of voting Republican. I've yet to hear a competent reason.
