But he will tonight.

That's what my money is on.

3. Had a GREAT time at the game last night - right now listening to it on my laptop
Yankees are taking care of Tampa, but Boston hasn't done enough yet.

Great to see Ells, Scut and the two Lavarnway's dingers - and every one of them needed. Why they pulled Aceves to put in Bard - and Bard's apparent lack of confidence....

Yikes!

4. They've taken the lead...but you're right, not enough....
Amazing that Bard went what, over a month at one point without letting anyone score...see, they're blaming the pitching but for a long part of the season all the pitching, if not great, was certainly competent.

6. I will love them for 5 minutes if they hold on and the Sox do...
Then I will treat them with the scorn they deserve!

10. Lavanway batting 5th has stranded 6 runners and allowed Gonzo to be int.
walked twice. Francona made a huge mistake having him bat 5th.

11. He's made plenty of mistakes during this stretch...don't see how he
can stick around...he is the real poblem behind the last 3 awful seasons.

12. Final update was 3 IBB for Gonzo and nine runners stranded by Lavanway
And don't get me wrong about Lavanway. He should never have been put in that 5 spot that a veteran should be in. That was a Grady Little moment by Francona.
