1. I don't like him, but I think he just made this season far more interesting to me than it was.
Personally, I could have survived a strike season rather easily. Now I'm curious to see how things unfold, for comedic value if nothing else. :)

3. One of Belichick's low risk, high reward moves
Like the Randy Moss deal, they got Ochocinco for low round draft picks. I still think he's talented, he had a down 2010 but I think Cincinnati passed the ball too often (which led to more turnovers for Palmer and lower YPA) to have real success. The Bengals that won the division utilized Cedric Benson well giving him plenty of carries.

I think there is lower reward with Haynesworth but I could see him being very useful in pass rush situations. Belichick said you can never have too much pass rush.

If it works out for the Pats great, if it doesn't they didn't give up a lot.

4. Exactly, from a strategic standpoint the moves are great.
It's just that they're both asshats. :)

6. Apples and oranges.
Chad is just a self promoter who didn't get along with his old coach. Haynesworth is a menace to society that has freakish football skills that keep him out of prison. Not really a fair comparison.

I like Chad. He'll make a good #3 receiver.

7. True, true.
Should be a fun year. The Pats have two crazies now. Haynesworth, a total bastard, and Chad, a Glenn Beck fan. :)

5. They should have given him a new number.
How about zero.

8. My condolences.
You can always root for the socialist team in Green Bay.
