Tour de France starts today

So we are only weeks away from FINALLY not hearing about how much of a threat is Contador this year.

The Alpine stages are devilish this year.

1. The race is for the second spot on the podium....
..because Contador is a shoo-in. But the fucking cheater will be disqualified post race and second moves up. It's a sham that he's even in France. But that's professional cycling.

7. Are you sure about that?
;)
I think the UCI is breathing a sigh of relief as it's unlikely that Contador will win this.
Bottom line- Contador, like Armstrong, and like most other cyclists, doped. But the rules are that he can race is his Federation (horribly corrupt) cleared him, and while there's still an investigation going on. It ain't pretty, but it's the way it is right now.

8. I don't see anyone beating him, a la. Schleck? Evans?
Unless you know something I don't. Yeah, he could be a little spaghetti-legged from the Giro but plenty of riders have one both classics. Nah. I'll be extremely surprised if he doesn't win. Like I said for the most part it's a level playing field...they all cheat. Enjoy!!

9. Contador's 1:20 down.
I imagine he'll get beat unless something akin to yesterday's crashes happens to the leaders.

2. Glued on tubulars today
My brother chided me into riding again. I cleaned up my Holdsworth(531) with good Suntour gruppo(I also have Campy record hubs and and avocet crank. Steel is real.

Cycling has been cheating for 40 years. Does anyone who follows cycling think Armstrong was the only one cheating. Way back in the '76 olympics the fins were cheating. This has been happening in Europe forever. I still can't belive Hincappie is still riding.
